Palliative Care Services was undertaken during
the months of September to November 2006 and the
following gives a synopsis of the results
2Aim of the Audit
- To measure out of hours calls to Specialist
Palliative Care Services with LNR strategic
health authority to log these calls and their
origin. - To identify activity which will inform future
service provision. - To identify any potential gaps or shortfalls of
skills of staff taking calls provision. - To identify if calls are appropriate for
Specialist Palliative Care.
