Adding Sound to PowerPoint

• There are two ways to add sound to a slideshow.
• To get sound to play on a click, do the
  following
• Record your sound and simply drag and drop the
  sound onto a slide. The speaker icon will be
  generated automatically. This is what was done on
  the first slide.

• To get sound to play through an entire slideshow,
  do the following
• Go to Insert gt Movies and Sounds gt Sound from
  file. Choose your sound.
• Then go into Slide Show gt Custom Animation. You
  will see a list of the animation items youve put
  on that first slide.
• Click once on the one that indicates the sound
  you just inserted. You need to Re-order that to
  move it to the top. Do this by clicking on the
  green up arrow below that list until that sound
  is at the top.
• Next, click on the arrow in that sound item and
  select Timing. Choose the Effect tab. Choose
  Start Playing at beginning, Stop Playing after 5
  slides.
• Finally, click OK.
