• The CSCS is a holistic security solutions
  provider bringing together 20 top research
  departments to solve the security and crime needs
  of our clients who include organisations from
  industry, commerce and government.
• Under the broad umbrella of the CSCS is the
  Industry Club, the Academic Club and now the
  Student Club

• Industry Club The CSCS Industry Club offers a
  low-cost framework to begin tapping into the
  cutting-edge research and training available at
  UCL.
• Academic Club The Academic Club services
  individuals and departments at UCL by vetting and
  bringing to your doorstep requests from global
  organisations attracted by the single point of
  contact at UCL.
• Student Club The Student Club is for
  post-graduate research students who have a bona
  fides interest in security and security-science
  related issues.

• Student Club
• The club provides a space for members to
  socialise with other likeminded individuals.
• Members will have the opportunity to discuss and
  debate security policy, security/crime science
  and related topics.
• We facilitate think-tank sessions whereby
  relevant research projects may be discussed with
  other skilled researchers. This creates the
  potential for further exploration.
• As a club member, you will enjoy the benefits of
  having access to the CSCS web-space - a fantastic
  resource that is often viewed by prospective
  employers.
• Being a member will also bring you into contact
  with security experts and professionals, as we
  expect to host several invited speaker talks.

• Club activities
• Regular meeting to keep members up to speed with
  club affairs.
• Throughout the year the club will host several
  specialist presentations/lectures with invited
  speakers from the likes of the Metropolitan
  Police and other security experts. It may also be
  possible for students to present academic papers
  related to their degree at various conferences
  that the CSCS organise.
• Club poster session participants will have the
  opportunity to showcase their work (or teamwork)
  to a wider audience of security experts.
• Poster prize.
