• Antonyms are word pairs that are opposite in
  meaning

Its your turn

• In your small work groups come up with as many
  antonyms as you can. Be careful to work quietly
  because each team will get one point for each
  antonym pair they have that no other group has on
  their list.
• You have 7 minutes!

All Our Antonyms

• Lets make a class list of all our antonyms on
  chart paper. As each group reads their antonyms
  raise your hand if your group has the same ones.
  We will still put them on our list, but no one
  gets a point for that pair.
