  • Training site for 2nd, 3rd, 4th year medical
    students
  • Students live year round at training site
  • 10 students each year/30 students when fully
    functioning in 2010
  • 2nd year students-based in HealthSource primary
    care sites
  • 3rd 4th year students-clerkships
  • Community integration/Community project
  • Local Faculty with CHC background

  • Allows students from community health center
    service areas to be referred for preferential
    admission to ATSU
  • Referred by CHC/MHC
  • This will allow you to grow your own

Phase II- OU CORE Program
Start 08/2009Fully implemented 08/2010
  • HealthSource to become a CORE Site in the OU
    medical school program
  • Joint venture between A.T. Still/OU and
    HealthSource
  • Only CORE site in southwest Ohio
  • 1st non-hospital CORE site
  • 3rd 4th year students from A.T. Still/SOMA
    would complete clerkships through CORE
