• Establish regular communication as a group
• Reach out to smaller Chambers through a localized
  champion
• Identify regional issues
• Look at existing resources to tap into
• Help encourage private sector involvement in
  Southwest Economic Alliance (SWEA) to achieve
  positive results

• Improve communication and collaboration amongst
  regional Chambers
• Improve communication and collaboration amongst
  individual member businesses
• Establish standards for common data collection
  process

What are the short term priorities (one year)
for economic cooperation, prosperity and growth?

• Identify work force re-training needs
• Create alliances with all sectors, including
  agriculture
• Connect research and development with business
• Create positive media strategy locally,
  regionally and internationally
• Research skilled employee pools and share that
  information in the region
• Host sector focused regional workshops throughout
  the year

What are the long term priorities (over one year)?

• Funding Requirements
• Re-train work force based on projected needs
• Identify and improve infrastructure needs for the
  region and lobby for funding
• Work with government to reduce obstacles for
  business
