young and impressionable brother arrives in
England with his new Scandinavian friend Harald
Hardrada, a Viking with claim to the throne and a
horde to back it up.

In a landslide victory Harold destroys Harald and
decimates his army. Only 24 of the original 240
ships survived. Both Tostig and Harald are slain
(despite the positions shown above).

During an exciting denouement Harold gets William
in a show down and teaches him a lesson about
creative storytelling's ramifications. No one but
William dies, everyone goes back to Harold's
place for a drink.
