BASIS was/is a GRID pilot project to provide a
tool for the quantitative study of the biology of

What does BASIS do?

• Store models (as blobs)
• Public and private models
• Unique model identifiers
• Simulate models and store the results
• Results stored for 3 months only
• Web-service interface
• Simulation jobs managed by Condor
• Move to Newcastle Grid
