Need Statement
Caring Hospital in New Jersey will collaborate
with its Health Education department in outreach

information needs of the patient population. The
    health educators identified finding health
information in the native language of the
population as a critical need. The hospital
librarian followed the interviews with a
literature review, confirming the importance of

other than English and identified the best
resources for the provision of Spanish-language
    information, including MedlinePlus.
