  • Only 2 more Late Start Mondays, May 4 and 11,
    school begins at 815, dont be late

Yearbooks
  • To order a yearbook, you must order with Mrs.
    Chessor, as yearbooks will not be sold at school
    until after Spring Day
  • To place an ad in the yearbook, contact Ms.
    Chessor at debbiec3_at_wcs.edu.
  • Price is 86 and checks made
  • out to CHS

  • There are a few seniors who have not paid their
    50 graduation fee

FOOTBALL
  • Practice resumes immediately after school for
    both JV and Varsity
  • All incoming freshman zoned for CHS are invited
    to attend workouts and meet our coaches and
    players beginning March 3rd and continuing each
    Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 330pm

CHS PHOTO CLUB
  • All students are welcome to join and will meet
    every Tuesday from 245 to 415 in Ms. Chessors
    room 155

WEIGHTS
  • This is for anybody wishing to participate in
    football next year and who is not participating
    in a Winter/Spring Sport. Meet in the football
    locker room daily ready to lift at 250

GIRLS SOCCER
  • Girls interested in playing high school soccer in
    2009, Weights will be Monday through Thursdays
    until further notice.
  • See Coach Westover if you have questions

  • Attention Ladies!!!! Any girls interested in
    playing soccer at CHS this season need to come to
    a mandatory team meeting Wednesday April 29th at
    530pm in the MPR
  • Parents and players are encouraged to attend

2009-2010 Athletic Passes
  • Information will be sent out with the 3rd nine
    weeks report cards
  • Price will 150 per family and this will admit
    all immediate family members into any CHS
    Athletic Event FREE of charge.
  • If you sign up before May 15th, youll receive a
    CHS Coaches shirt, a 30 value
  • Dont miss out on the convenience privilege of
    having a Cougar Athletic Pass

SPRING DAY - MAY 15
  • Anyone interested in performing this year needs
    to go by Ms. Bivins room, 114, to pick up an
    application
  • They are due by Friday, May 8th
  • See Mrs. Hodges if you are interested in having a
    fundraiser

  • If you need help in getting a prom dress this
    year, stop by and see either Mrs. McCarthy in
    room 214 or Mrs. Odom in room 240

State Math Contest
  • Contest was held at David Lipscomb University
  • Tiago Costa 1st place Pre-Calculus
  • Barrett Roudabush 10th place Statistics
  • Glenna Massey 10th place Geometry
  • CHS also had several other students place in the
    top 25 in each division were proud of all our
    students and thank you for allowing these
    students to take part in this event

Confiscated Items
  • If you havent served a detention for a
    confiscated item such as cell phone, i-pod, MP3
    player, calculator or a PSP, please do so soon,
    as once school is over, all items will be donated
    to a charity

JTG State Conference
  • TJ Steele placed 4th in Public Speaking
  • Abby Benson placed 1st in Consumer Vocab
  • Mrs. Odom was awarded the State of TN Above and
    Beyond Clara Theus Award
  • Congratulations one and all!

GOLF
  • Golf tryouts will be July 20 and July 21 at 4pm
    at Forrest Crossing Golf Course
  • You must have a current physical (performed after
    May 1st of this year) in order to tryout
  • Bring the physical to tryouts on July 20th or
    already have it on file with the school

    their 2-1 win over Ravenwood
  • Ravenwood was ranked 1 in the sate and top 20 in
    the US by most reports
  • Congrats to Coach Pollock and the boys

    at the State Tournament Congratulations to
    all!!!!

Habitat for Humanity
  • Is sponsoring another non-dress code shirt day
    this Thursday, 4/30
  • Buy your wrist band at lunch for 2 and then wear
    it along with your favorite spring shirt to
    school on Thursday shirts must have sleeves and
    cannot contain any offensive language or images
