    1990) was awarded a name of Mykolas Romeris
    University

Proposal by the Mykolas Romeris University
  • Related with the objectives of the FP6 Specific
    Programme Integrating and Strengthening the
    European Research Area, Priority 7 "Citizens and
    governance in the knowledge based society" as
    well as support of Lisbon process and EU
    sustainable development strategy
  • Governance for sustainable development are
    important both at the national and EU level.
    Research and development of governance patterns
    to achieve sustainable development including the
    following mutually interrelated topic
  • strategic management of cross-sectoral
    (cross-institutional) strategies, particularly,
    measures for quality assurance at the EU and
    national/municipal level
  • implementation of interdisciplinary applied
    research, particularly for SD related policy
    provisions
