  • The Mobile Commerce Laboratory was founded in
    2001
  • Is one of the many Turku Computer Science
    (TUCS) laboratories
  • The research program started in 2001 with 3
    separate projects on virtual mobile platforms,
    mobile commerce industry foresight and empirical
    market studies in Europe and Asia
  • Mission is to find new, effective mobile
    products and services, which will offer everyday
    support for individuals in a way, which will
    permanently change their everyday routines
