assist in

• Eating
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Personal Hygiene
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Personal Mobility
• Medication Reminders
• Accompanied to Drs. Appt.
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Grocery Shopping
• Laundry
• Appt. Scheduling and Reminders
• Accessing Additional Resources
• Transportation (most cases)

Respite Services

• Respite services are designed to provide
  assistance to both individuals served by the
  agency and their families for a brief time
  period.
• The duration of respite services may vary from
  four(4) hours to thirty(30) consecutive days.
• Respite services may be provided in the familys
  home or in a residence of the familys choosing.

Personal Care Services

• Long term services providing assistance with
• Eating
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Personal Hygiene
• Meal Preparation
• Other Care
• These services are provided for the consumers
• health and are performed in the comfort of his
• or her home.
• For ages 21 or older with a disability

Texas Home Living Waiver

• This program is a waiver service that will allow
  many Texans to remain in their homes and
  communities, and is a move toward reducing the
  waiting list for services for persons with Mental
  Retardation and Developmental disabilities.

• Supported Employment
