SJA Stewardship Committee
Stewardship calls us to share our gifts through
loving relationships with all aspects of
Creation. The practice of stewardship is
enhanced wherever there is a sense of belonging.
The Stewardship Committee seeks to increase
parishioner's sense of belonging by encouraging
participation in the parish. It meets regularly
with the Pastor and Administrator and
collaborates with the Pastoral Council and other
parish groups. It is not a decision making body.
1. It seeks to understand parishioners
perspectives. (phonathons, mailings, interviews
of inactive parishioners, surveys.)
2. Through its continuity experience, it
provides holistic perspectives to SJA leaders on
system issues. (PC liaisons, strategic plan,
transition planning)
3. It reflects, creates ideas, and recommends.
(communication, signage, outreach, greeters,
collaborative ministry)
4. It helps with problem solving and
implementation. (capital campaign, focus groups
on financial crunch)
