MEP Mission Statement

• To strengthen the global competitiveness of
  US-based manufacturing by providing information,
  decision support, and implementation assistance
  to smaller manufacturing firms in adopting new,
  more advanced manufacturing technologies,
  techniques, and business best practices.

Measuring Success MEPs Survey Methodology

• A 21 question survey conducted on a quarterly
  schedule by a third-party interviewer with each
  client selected and surveyed no more than one
  time per year.
• A focus on
• Intermediate outcomes such as process
  improvements in areas such as manufacturing
  systems, human resources, marketing/sales, and
  management systems
• Bottom line client outcome/impacts such as sales,
  employment, capital investment and cost savings
• Productivity improvements
• Overall Satisfaction
