• IAT rules and format changes are to aid FIs in
  regulatory compliance.
• IAT changes enable FIs to expand product offering
  to include international ACH payments.
• All U.S. financial institutions (ODFIs/RDFIs)
  must have a written OFAC policy for handling IAT
  transactions.
• IAT does not change an FIs domestic OFAC
  compliance requirements.
• Education, training and technical assistance are
  available from a number of sources.
• Implementation date for IAT is September 18,
  2009.
