  family of God. That family is the church...

A. FELLOWSHIP is loving Gods Family. We love
because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I
love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar.
For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he
has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
And he has given us this command Whoever loves
God must also love his brother. 1 John 419-21

II. THREE LEVELS OF FELLOWSHIP LEVEL 1
FRIENDSHIP LEARNING TO SHARE All the
believers met together constantly and shared
everything with each other. Acts 244

  the other's faith, both yours and mine.

• Day by day continuing with one mind in the
  temple, and breaking bread from house to house,
  they were taking their meals together with
  gladness and sincerity of heart.

• Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you
  will fulfill the law of Christ.

LEVEL 2 PARTNERSHIP DOING MY PART The whole
Body is fitted together perfectly. As each part
does its own special work, it helps the other
parts grow, so that the whole Body is healthy and
growing and full of love. Ephesians 416 (NLT)
So then, while we have opportunity, let us do
good to all people, and especially to those who
are of the household of the faith. Galatians

LEVEL 3 KINSHIP LOVING BELIEVERS LIKE
FAMILY They devoted themselves to the
fellowship Acts
242 Be devoted to one another in brotherly
love. Honor one another above yourselves.

We know what real love is because Christ gave up
his life for us. And so we also ought to give up
our lives for our Christian brothers and
sisters. 1 John 316 (NLT) A new command I
give you Love one another. As I have loved you,
so you must love one another. By this all men
will know that you are my disciples, if you love
one another. John 1334,35

When he had said these things, he knelt down and
prayed with them all. And they began to weep
aloud and embraced Paul, and repeatedly kissed
him, grieving especially over the word which he
had spoken, that they would not see his face

III. WHAT ABOUT MEMBERSHIP? ...You are members
of God's very own family... and you belong in
God's household with every other Christian.
Ephesians 219 (LB) In Christ we who are many
form one Body, and each member belongs to all the

- IT IS CHOOSING TO BELONG And let us consider
how we may spur one another on toward love and
good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together,
as some are in the habit of doing, but let us
encourage one anotherand all the more as you see
the Day approaching. Hebrews 1024,25

This is what we proclaimed in word and action
when we were baptized. Each of us is now a part
of his resurrection Body. 1 Corinthians 1213
(MSG) That's what baptism into the life of
Jesus means. When we are lowered into the water,
it is like the burial of Jesus when we are
raised up out of the water, it is like the
