  • We know that people want jobs
  • We know they want decent jobs - not pretend jobs
    or endless training
  • We know it is the part of Valuing People where we
    have done least well

  • There are very few people with more complex needs
    in employment
  • Many people in jobs work short hours and some in
    jobs they dont enjoy
  • We are led by the labour market and structural
    issues that give jobs to most able

  • That gets the money and the skills to help the
    individual person
  • When and where they need it
  • That helps someone figure out what they want to
    do
  • That works with employers to create jobs that
    assist them as well

  • Its about someones life not treatment or care
  • Developed by and with the person not by experts
    or professionals
