PLAYING GUIDELINES St Mellion International St
Mellion is committed to ensuring a reasonable
pace and standard of play. To achieve this all
guests or visitors to the club are to have one of
the following 1) Are in possession of a current
handicap certificate 2) Have a letter of
introduction from their Golf Club 3) EGU
recognised society handicap certificate 4) Have a
letter from a PGA Professional confirming their
competency 5) Affiliated members of Associations
including the PGA, BIGGA, and Golf Secretaries
must produce their membership card. In addition
they must also write or fax requesting courtesy.
(This is a courtesy and not a rule and for a
maximum of one round). This does not include
Society packages. Our Fax number is 01579
350537. Any issues arising from non-compliance
will be resolved as follows The St Mellion Golf
Operations Staff have the discretion to allow
people on to the course who do not conform to the
above if the player can guarantee they are
capable of a reasonable standard of play. Speed
of Play The following is an indication of the
time four-balls are expected to be completed on
each course OLD COURSE 4 Hours NICKLAUS
COURSE 4 Hours and 45 Minutes Please Note
Sharing of a golf bag is not allowed. St Mellion
reserves the right to withdraw a player at
anytime from the course that does not meet our
required standard
DRESS STANDARDS St Mellion International Both
Men and Ladies are kindly requested to observe
the following dress code both on and off the golf
course CORRECT GOLF FOOTWEAR SHIRTS WITH
COLLARS (mock-necks allowed) SHIRTS MUST BE
TUCKED IN NO NON-GOLF RELATED SPORT
SHIRTS TAILORED SHORTS AND TROUSERS ONLY NO
CARGO/COMBATS ALLOWED NO DENIM NO TRACKSUITS OR
LEISURE LEGGINGS NO ¾ LENGTH TROUSERS NO TUCKING
TROUSERS IN TO SOCKS CAPS TO BE WORN IN THE
CORRECT MANNER NO BANDANAS (No headwear to be
worn in the bar/restaurant areas) MOBILE PHONES
FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY GOLFERS MUST NOT SHARE BAGS
OR CLUBS St Mellion staff have the final decision
as to suitability of clothing and
footwear Ladies TAPERED SHIRTS CAN BE WORN
OUT CAPRI 3/4 LENGTH TROUSERS ACCEPTABLE
