  • Students should be encouraged to
  • Develop a sense of wonder appreciation of
    creation human existence
  • Our educational techniques methodologies should
    provide affective experiences (empathetic
    identification) of knowing as well as conceptual
    experiences of knowing (logical analysis)

    creation and Gods personal revelation to us
  • Encourage experiences of community and
    companionship to the pragmatic tasks of learning

  • Engage them in stripping away false
    values/assumptions, warped values, and class or
    cultural mythologies which distort our perception
    of reality.

  • We must illuminate the contradictions
    ambiguities of these values

  • Become dreamers and men/women for and with others
  • We must strive to affect basic perceptual
    structures by which students view themselves and
    their world.
  • Offer them an Ignatian vision of reality

  • Find their fulfillment in loving and serving
    others
  • A thirst for the more, for the greater good, for
    the most courageous response to the challenge of
    our time
  • Must foster the frontier spirit, to transcend
    boundaries and limits.

    mastery, but rather to explore the deeper human
    dimensions and implications of their learning.
