  • DESCRIPTION
  • The project covers the construction of the Second
Magsaysay Bridge and Butuan City Bypass Road and
its linkages to the Surigao Butuan and the
    Iligan Cagayan-Butuan City Roads.
  • The Second Magsaysay Bridge consists of a 300 m
steel cable stayed main bridge with concrete
tower and steel deck plate girder on steel pipe
    pile foundation. A 372 and 150 m approach
viaducts composed of steel I-girders with
pre-cast prestressed concrete deck slab on steel
pipe piles foundation will be constructed at the
    east and west banks, respectively.
  • The Bypass Road Starts at Km 1236 394 and ends
at Km 1247 260. To be constructed will be a
6.70 m wide PCCP with 2.5 m shoulders for the
8.10 km road length. The road links include 1.33
km of the Maguinda Nieves Road and 2.9 km of
the Bonbon Libertad Road. To be included are
major channelized road junctions at Surigao
    Tiniwisan intersection, junction with
Butuan-Malaybalay road and intersection of Bonbon
Road with Iligan-Cagayan-Butuan Road. The Bonbon
