2Goals of the Prototype
- To create a demonstration platform which seeks to
discover, filter, and replicate that which is
uplifting - Self-organizing, self-propagating
- Open Source software, intellectual property
- Scalable exploits power of scale-free networks
- Based on positive discourse
- Reputation-driven
- Enables trustraising
- Scalable trust mechanism
- Which could trigger a swarm of uplift
- Build on concepts discussed in www.givingspace.org
3Basic Building Block Elevators
- Elevators are uplifting actions or ideas
- That which has a reputation for uplift is
uplifting. - May span philanthropy, health, education,
environmental, aid, business and developmental
activities - There is an abundance of elevators in the world
- So many elevators, so little understanding
rather than So many problems, so little money. - Challenge is to discover and filter from an
abundance, rather than allocate from concepts of
scarcity - Scalable
- Giving a smile low cost, highly scalable
- Discovering HIV/AIDS high cost, one instance
