• Jesus has just been to Capernaum where He healed
  the Centurions daughter.
• He is now traveling to the region of the
  Gadarenes.

• The Sea of Galilee
• The region of the Gadarenes
• Notes
• Capernaum was a predominantly Jewish city and is
  where Jesus was just prior to crossing the Sea of
  Galilee
• Gadara Gerasa were in a gentile region. A hint
  to this is the swine mentioned in the account
• Crossing the Jordan most likely means crossing
  from Jewish into a Gentile or Pagan region.

  abundantly beyond all that we ask or think
  (Ephesians 320-21)

How do we apply this?

• Acknowledge Him as God.
• Dont be anxiousHe is able to overcome ANYTHING.
• Remember that we must have faith. Only by His
  power are we able to overcome, so we must have
  faith in Him.
• We can be reassured in temptation. We can ask
  Him to help us through our temptation. This
  means we have even less of an excuse to sin.
