1What are the Rudraksha wearing rules of women?
Introduction to Rudraksha Wearing Rules for
Women In this blog, we will discuss the
Rudraksha wearing rules for women. Rudraksha is
revered as the king of all gems due to its
numerous benefits that can positively impact your
life. According to legend, Rudraksha beads were
formed from the tears of Lord Shiva when he was
in deep meditation. Visualizing the sorrows and
problems of humanity, Lord Shiva was deeply
saddened and sought a solution. His tears fell in
different parts of the world, giving rise to
Rudraksha trees. Given Lord Shivas deep
concern for human suffering, it is believed that
he intended for everyone to benefit from
Rudraksha, regardless of gender, caste, age, or
belief. This universality is encapsulated in the
belief that All humans are children of Lord
Shiva. Can Women Wear Rudraksha? There is
often debate about whether women can wear
Rudraksha. To address this, we look to ancient
Vedic sources that mention the rules for women
wearing Rudraksha. This means, People of all
varnas, ashramas, Sudras, and women should wear
Rudraksha at the command of Shiva. Ascetics
should wear it while reciting the Omkara
mantra. Skanda Mahapurana In Chapter 4
Purvaardha - Arunachala Mahatmya of the Skanda
Mahapurana, it is stated Setting aside her
ornaments of various kinds, she adorned herself
with clusters (i.e., rosaries) of Rudraksha
beads. Laying aside the divine garments, she wore
two auspicious bark garments. Additionally,
various Rudraksha beads are associated with
goddesses. For example, the 2 Mukhi Rudraksha is
linked to Shiva and Shakti, the 4 Mukhi to Lord
Saraswati, the 7 Mukhi to Maa Lakshmi, and the 9
Mukhi to the Navadurgas. This indicates that
women can and should wear Rudraksha without any
restrictions. Nowhere in the scriptures, Vedas,
