KIDEPO VALLEY
NATIONAL PARK
The park offers some excellent game viewing
circuits in the prime wildlife areas near the
Winy river and the rock escarpment to the
south west.
All year round though the rainy season (August-
October) can make the roads difficult.
Kidepo harbours a large variety of animals and
birds some of which are not to be found in any
of the other National Parks in Uganda.

SEMULIKI
NATIONAL PARK
Semuliki National Park covers an area of 220
square km and is one of Ugandas newest National
Parks having been gazetted in October 1993.One
of the fascinating attractions at Semliki apart
from the unusual panoramic views are the hot
springs.

MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Murchison Falls is Ugandas largest and one of
its best and most exciting national parks.
Activities in the park include launch trips to
the base of the falls, drive to the top of the
falls, game drives, chimpanzee tracking and
birding.

MOUNTAIN ELGON NATIONAL PARK
Straddling the Kenya-Uganda border this extinct
volcano-mountain is the eighth highest in Africa
and it rises from the broadest base of any
freestanding mountain in the world. Formed at
the time of the creation of the Great Rift
Valley this volcano would have been
substantially higher than Kilimanjaro, currently
the highest mountain in Africa.
