  material will be exposed to moisture, water or

  you should choose a waterproof or water-resistant
  type of Doelken or other reliable brand
  edgebanding such as vinyl or PVC. These materials
  are resistant to moisture and can be used on
  countertops, cabinets, backsplashes and floors.

  waterproofness or water resistance but still
  needs protection against moisture, then there are
  several options for you as well in Doellken and
  other brands.. These include aluminum oxide or
  aluminum oxide with polyester backing options
  that are very effective in preventing scratches
  on granite countertops, marble countertops and
  other types of stone.
