antiquated Mesopotamia, where tube shaped stamps
were produced using stone or shell as soon as
4,000 - 3,000 BCE. These engraved or intaglio
stamps, otherwise called "seal networks," were
cut backward with the goal that their pictures
would be comprehensible when squeezed into
delicate materials like mud, bringing about a
perfect representation of the first stone etching.
