Sexually Transmitted Illnesses (STI), also known
as Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) and
Venereal Diseases (VD), are infections
transferred via sexual contact. An STI can be
contracted during vaginal, anal, or oral
intercourse.

There are various varieties of STIs. Chlamydia,
genital warts, herpes, and syphilis are some of
the most prevalent STIs. The majority of STIs are
treatable or cured. Conditions like Chlamydia,
gonorrhoea, and syphilis are curable, but herpes
and human papillomavirus (HPV) are treatable and
are not.   If treated early enough, bacterial
STDs can be healed with antibiotics. Viral STDs
cannot be cured however, drugs can manage
symptoms. There is a hepatitis B vaccination, but
it will not assist if you already have the
condition.   If you are given antibiotics to
treat an STD/STI, it is critical that you
complete the whole course of treatment, even if
your symptoms improve. Also, it's essential not

such as HIV/AIDS, Chlamydia, or Hepatitis B, need
