    inhibition is applying a coating on the metal
    surface, which blocks oxygen from reaching the
    metal surface.
  • Different Kinds Of Corrosion Inhibitors-
  • Cathodic Inhibitor- These inhibitors are used to
    decelerate the cathodic reaction. They are also
    used for precipitation on the cathodic metal

    morpholine can be some good examples of VPIs.

    also form a covering on the metal surface. They
    work with the purpose of controlling both
    cathodic and anodic reactions. Phosphates used
    to soften water to prevent water rusting are a
    good example of mixed inhibitors.
