The colour palette consists of (from left to
right) Brown, Cerulean Blue, Mauve,
Magenta, Blush Red, and Orange. These are
the most popular colours that are seen to be
widely used in more traditionally Indian homes.
The Brown is seen mostly in the wood furniture
and the Orange, Blush Red, Magenta, and Mauve
represent floral, and nature-inspired colours.

During the rise of the Mughals and then the Raj,
popular crafts such as wooden furniture carving,
work with metal ware and earthenware, pottery,
sculpting, woodwork, hand-printed textiles and
scarves, embroidered and crocheted goods, and
stone carving become the cornerstone of Indian
artistic traditions. These kinds of items are
therefore regularly seen in traditional Indian
style living room or homes.
