Poutine
Among a few of the world-renowned Canadian
dishes, poutine is a glorious one. The
oh-so-delectable combination of crispy fries,
squeaky cheese curds and rich peppery gravy makes
this dream meal so popular around the world. This
classic Canadian cuisine with French touch is one
of its kind, but when added toppings like bacon,
pork or smoky meat, it really hits the taste
palate differently. This is why Poutine has
become one such culinary gem of French Canadian
that every renowned restaurant wants to keep on
the menu all over the world.

Canadian Bacon
In several countries, what is served as Peameal
Bacon, the Canadian cuisine branded it as the
Canadian Bacon with a twist. In contrast to the
traditional bacon that uses the belly portion of
the pig, Canadian bacon is a dish prepared using
thin pork loin. This piece of bacon is then
preserved in salt and rolled into cornmeal to
enhance its flavors. Earlier it was all rolled
into the yellow peas as a preservation step.
