B2B marketplaces are exploding onto the scene,
signaling a disruption of procurement landscape
by creating value for not only apparel
retailers, brands and the manufacturers, but
also the entire textile supply chain - by
improving their overall supply-chain
effectiveness decision making through tech
enabled tools. According to a McKinsey report,
70 of B2B decision makers said they are open
to making remote purchase in excess of US
50,000 and around 30 are ready to spend more
than US 500,000.
Indias B2B e-commerce market is one of the
fastest-growing in the world, and is expected to
reach over US 1 trillion by 2024, said John
Curtius, a partner at Tiger Global, which has
invested in several Indian B2B
