full-screen photos and videos. They are trying to
morph the Instagram service to look like TikTok.

Adam Mosseri, chief of Instagram, revealed that
the social media platform takes a big step back

quarter. There is a need for short videos
suggested by the algorithm, and Meta will
continue to strive for him to have a prominent
position on both Facebook and Instagram. The
immense challenge for Mosseri and his squad will
be how to suit it into the app in a manner that
complements the Instagram experience rather than
detracting from it.
