Established in 1946, Annaberg-Buchholz, Germany,
as an optical store and an eyewear
workshop, COCO LENI produced handmade acetate and
metal frames. East German
goods werent flamboyant in design, but their
skilled workmanship ensured that the frames
lasted forever, and the materials used made them
sustainable and eco-friendly. COCO LENI was
reintroduced in 2015 by Matthias Haase, an
Eyewear Designer who worked in the same workshop
since 1981. His aim was to revive Handmade
Eyewear made in that Era which was crafted from
the Finest Natural Materials along with a
Minimalistic German Style. MATERIALS WE
USE Whether its our eco-friendly wood,
ethically-sourced buffalo horn and bamboo,
Italian acetate and more, we believe our
customers deserve only the finest materials we
can get our hands on. Here at COCO LENI, we
scour the globe for materials that are both
environmentally friendly and of the highest
quality. We aim to create products that we know
our customers and our planet will be proud
of. SUSTAINABILITY We believe that far too many
companies neglect where and how their products
are sourced, which can have a negative impact on
the environment in addition to customer
experience. We also think not enough companies
put customer experience and social issues at the
forefront of their organizations agenda. This is
precisely why we choose to be different. Here
are the only things we focus on just as much as
design. Our COCO LENI Eyewear is made using the
finest sustainable and natural materials
including wood, cellulose acetate, horn,
titanium, and other environment-friendly
materials. Handmade exclusively in our workshops
around the world with German Design and
Technology we aim to promote sustainable eyewear.

90 DAYS RETURN POLICY
Every frame is handcrafted with love, and made
with extra care. We avoid wastage of material by
recycling even the cut-out bio-acetate and
horn. COCO LENI Sustainable eyewear is made to
your measurements so as to avoid returns and
exchanges as much as possible. Every return and
exchange leaves a carbon footprint and
waste. Small adjustments in fit (specially to the
arm) can be made at our local partner stores or
any friendly local optician, virtually free of
cost. If you still feel you need to make a return
or an exchange, you may be return the eyewear in
original, merchantable condition, in the
original case within 90 days of receipt of your
order, for 100 store credit or Product
exchange of equal or lesser value or 100 cash
refund minus a (25 customisation fee if
prescription lenses are ordered) Refunds will be
returned via the same method of payment used to
order the product (credit card, debit card,
PayPal, etc.). Please allow up to 30 days for
the credit to appear in your account. 10 Years
Warranty Within the first 10 years of ownership,
if you experience a manufacturing defect in
materials or workmanship, COCO LENI warrants
your frames and we will repair or replace the
product at no charge. This warranty is five times
longer than any other premium eyewear
maker. COCO LENI has sole discretion to determine
manufacturers defects. Lenses are not covered
under the 10 year warranty policy. Since
eventual wear and tear can be expected,
reasonable repair charges will be levied if
repairs are necessary as a result of normal
wear, accidental damage, misuse or any other
problems determined not to be defects. A repair
fee, if applicable, will be quoted prior claim
processing. This warranty extends only to the
original purchaser and cannot be transferred.
