When do I need it? Invisalign is advised for

someone who needs severe straightening for which
the traditional braces are better. What are the
steps of getting it? The first step is of course
consultation with the dentist. The dentist will
show you a virtual preview of what your teeth
will look like after the procedure. This is a
great advantage that this procedure has over
others as it lets you see the end result before
you undergo the procedure. The dentist will
explain everything in detail and if you go
forward, the molds will be created customized to

Is it better than traditional braces? Yes, it is
better. For starters, it is much more comfortable
to wear than your traditional braces. Plus, they
look good and almost invisible as they are
custom-made for each patient. For young people
especially teenagers this is a great choice
because sometimes they hate wearing braces as it
makes them look different than their peers.
Moreover, they can be removed, in fact, you have
to remove them at night which scores over
traditional braces which have to be worn all the

Will there be any discomfort or side effects? To
start with, at the beginning the Invisalign will
be a little uncomfortable to wear especially the
fasteners used for attaching the Invisalign to
your teeth. However, with constant use, this will
soon go away and it will become so comfortable
that you will forget that you are wearing them!
As for side effects, though it is rare, there are
people who are allergic to the plastic used for
creating the Invisalign aligners. So, if your
irritation stays for several days despite you
wearing them as directed, consult your dentist.

I am wearing braces no. Can I switch to
Invisalign? The answer to this question is yes,
but only after the dentist has thoroughly checked
you and given their recommendation for your
treatment. There are some areas where traditional
braces are better than Invisalign like severe
overcrowding. So, if you dont have any issues
then you can switch. But keep in mind that
Invisalign in Miami will be costlier than the
traditional braces treatment you are currently
undergoing. Hence switching to Invisalign when
your traditional brace treatment plan is nearly
over is not a good idea.
