When you are considering wedding décor one of the
most important factors is the wedding table
centrepieces. This is because your guests will
spend a lot of time at the table, for eating,
listening to the speeches, and for drinking, and
this may go on all afternoon and into the
evening. So, they will be looking at the
centrepieces a lot, and this is why they are
important. When it comes to centrepieces, there
are almost limitless choices. Many people choose
to go for flowers, of course, but you dont have
to use them.

There is no law about it. You could go for
candles. And one idea is very tall candlesticks
that rise above the centre of the tables so that
the candles are two or three feet up in the
air. If you are using flowers, you dont have to
use them on their own. You can use fruit to add a
whole other new dimension to your centrepieces.
You obviously wouldnt want to use soft fruits
like blackberries, but in the autumn, you can use
apples and pears, and you can add vegetables such
as marrows, small squashes, tomatoes, cucumbers,
and so on. You can also add nuts like chestnuts.
You dont have to use flowers, of course. There
is plenty of greenery that you can use instead,
including potted plants. Table Runners If you
have long tables instead of small round ones, you
can use table runners along the centre to cheer
up a white tablecloth. The colours can be used to
accent your flowers, and fabrics such as silk or
chiffon look great. Decide whether you want them

tables or be the exact length. You can buy table
runners on Amazon and eBay, but its probably
cheaper to just go to a fabric shop and buy what
you need. Pumpkins are another idea for the
autumn or winter. You can either use them as they
are, or you can paint them in different colours
to match your overall colour scheme. If you are a
gardener, you can grow them yourself. If not,
most greengrocers will have pumpkins in the
autumn. You could use floating candles as well.
Take a small vase of water and add some greenery
and berries in the water. Add a floating candle
on top and light them just before your guests
arrive.
