a qualified Company Secretary, a Chartered

legislative requirements in INDIA and also the
lack of affordable good professional and
independent advice for smaller businesses. We
specialize in registering a wide range of
business entities like private limited company,
public limited company, One person Company, LLP
registration, Nidhi Company registration,

What is Tax Audit?
The term audit refers to a check, review,
verification, or inspection of a record,
transaction, account, etc. A tax audit is the
process of verification and inspection of the
accounts of a taxpayer to confirm their adherence
to the provisions of the Income Tax law. Section
44AB of the Income Tax Act, 1961 deals with the
Audit of the Accounts of a certain category of
persons carrying on a business or engaged in a
profession. The class of taxpayers listed under
this section compulsorily have to get their
accounts audited by a Chartered Accountant. The
CA will check and verify that these accounts
comply with the various provisions of the Income
Tax law. Simply put, this audit required as per
Section 44AB of the Income Tax Act, 1961 is
called a tax audit.

Income Tax Return
Income tax is a type of tax that the central
government charges on the income earned during a
financial year by individuals and businesses.
Taxes are sources of revenue for the government.
The government utilizes this revenue for
developing infrastructure, providing healthcare,
education, subsidy to the farmer/ agriculture
sector, and in other government welfare schemes.
Taxes are mainly of two types, direct taxes and
indirect forms of taxes. Tax levied directly on
the income earned is called a direct tax, for
example, Income tax is a direct tax. The tax
calculation is based on the income slab rates
applicable during that financial year.
