Admission Process for BSc Optometry
  • Candidates who are thinking about applying to

  • Admission to the BSc Optometry programme is
awarded based on an entrance exam. Application

for admission to the BSc Optometry programme.
  • The colleges will reveal the cut-off list, and
the shortlisted students will be invited to the

Eligibility for BSc Optometry
  • Candidates must have finished their 102 with the
required minimum marks from a recognised board of
    education.
  • The minimum grades necessary for admission into
BSc Optometry courses vary by institute, although
students in the PCB/PCM/PCMB group are expected
    to have at least 50.
  • BSc Optometry entrance exams are also held by
several reputable universities and institutes for
    admission to the degree programme.
  • Aspirants who are doing their 102 exams can also
register for this programme, however they must
bring their exam results to the counselling
session (with at least 50 percent marks aggregate
    required in the Science stream).
  • The final merit, i.e. the total marks aggregated
in the final exams of 102 and the entrance test,
is used to choose students for the BSc Optometry
    programme in colleges.
  • On the first November of the year of admission,
the candidates must have reached the age of 17.
