Who are the most perfect candidate for hip
replacement?
Chronic hip pain is one of the most complex
problem that can impact the daily life of the
patient by making it uncomfortable to sit move or

What to expect after surgery-

Hip replacement surgery is performed by making a
large cut of 6 to 8 incisions, and in minimally
invasive surgery with one or two small incisions,
in the surgery the diseased bone, tissue or
cartilage from the hip joint is replaced with the
new artificial parts.  After the surgery there
is 3 to 5 days of hospital stay for a proper
examination, the positioning splint like a foam
pillow is placed between the legs this is used to
protect the hip during the recovery period. After
the surgery there is a limit for movement of the
particular joint. This means  you might need help
to do the household work or any other daily
activities during recovery. Generally after 4 to
6 weeks you might be able to resume light daily
activities.  Physical therapy is one of the most
essential part of the recovery, gradually there
will be a regain in hip mobility and strength
with less pain, the full recovery of the surgery
will take generally takes 2-3 months.
