• The reaction between chemicals inside the battery
  of a remote or car experiences sudden reactions
  when exposed to other chemicals. When hydrogen
  gas is released from sulphuric acid inside the
  battery, the reaction of these compounds with
  atmospheric gas leads to corrosion. This type of
  corrosion is called battery corrosion. Normally,
  corrosion appears on the negative terminal of the
  battery this is a sign of undercharging. If
  corrosion occurs on the positive terminal of the
  battery, this is a sign of over charging.
