ABOUT UNIVERSITY
Mohan Lal Sukhadia University is based in
Udaipur. It was found in 1962 for the higher
education of students. It is especially located
in southern Rajasthan. This region sees many
tribal people as located at Aravalli hills it
has I.T.C. enabled working in various areas of
function like governance, research, teaching etc.
This university also has seen tremendous growth
in providing opportunities for higher learning,
with strong ethical values, maintaining
scientific excellence. This university has more
than 190000 students with 200 faculty members and
a sum of 38 departments in totality which also
makes it grand and valuable.

HISTORY
This university constitutes of four colleges, and
sixty colleges hold affiliations to it in various
districts of Sirohi, Udaipur, Rajsamand, and
Chittorgarh. It was earlier an agricultural
university and later got converted into multi
faculty university in 1964, and later it was
renamed as mentioned above.

CAMPUS

• This university includes two campuses which is
  widely spread over an area that counts up to more
  than 600 acres of land. Additionally, many
  colleges have affiliations to it in different
  areas, few to mention Udaipur Guru Nanak girls
  college, Pacific college of commerce and
  management, Abu road U.S.B. Pharmacy college,
  Banswara M.G. school of pharmacy, Dungarpur
  Govt college, Sagwara, Mavli Shri Nath college
  Shiksha etc. The four constituent colleges are-
  University college of science, university college
  of social science and humanities, university of
  commerce and management studies, and university
  college of law. In order to be specific, the
  university has a total of 60 affiliated colleges
  to it.

COURSES OFFERED

• The university includes courses such as B.A.,
  B.ED., M.A., B.Lib., L.Sc, B.P.Ed., L.L.B, M.Sc.,
  Ph.D. in streams such as science, commerce,
  engineering, pharmacy, computer applications,
  travel and tourism and much more.
• To take admissions, one needs to secure a minimum
  of 48 aggregate in 10 plus 2 for undergraduate
  level. For post-graduation, one needs to be a
  graduate with a minimum of 48. The application
  form needs to be filled for other courses and
  levels too, such as certificate, diploma etc.
  after completion of the admission process, and
  seats will be allotted after the counseling
  session.

INFRASTRUCTURE
Library The library has a separate section for
referrals, journals with a reading room as well.
The seating capacity of the library is 140. it
has 13 encyclopedias in total.  Laboratories
There are varieties of laboratories available
here, such as curriculum laboratory, I.C.T.
resource center, Art and craft resource center,
language, psychology lab, computer lab, health,
and physical education resource center.

• Games and sports facility 
• This university offers playgrounds, but not
  available on sharing basis with other
  universities, Gymnasium and multipurpose hall,
  facilities for athletics, indoor and outdoor
  games, and sports available.
• Other facilities 
• Mohan Lal Sukhadia University makes sure that
  good facilities and comfort are available to all
  the students who take admission here. Apart from
  the facilities mentioned above, some other
  facilities include a hygienic canteen to ensure
  food facilities for all, medical provisions
  available for its staff and students, and hostel
  arrangements for both boys and girls.
