ABOUT UNIVERSITY
International Institute of Information Technology
(IIIT Naya Raipur) is also called Dr Shyama
Prasad Mukherjee International Institute of
Information Technology. Moreover, IIIT Raipur,
is a public state higher education joint venture
by Chhattisgarh State Government and National
Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC). Further, IIIT
Naya Raipur is located in the fully planned
Greenfield city of Atal Nagar-Nava
Raipur. Established recently in 2015, the State
University has recognition from the University
Grants Commission (UGC) as well as the All India
Council of Technical Education (AICTE). In
addition to this, IIIT Naya Raipur has official
accreditation from NAAC. Besides this, the
technology institute promotes the highest
standard of professionalism in the students.

HISTORY
As a matter of fact, the history of IIIT Naya
Raipur relates to the overall development of the
state and the surrounding areas. Moreover, the
State Government of Chhattisgarh laid the
foundation of IIIT Raipur in 2015 to inculcate
project-based learning. Likewise, the college was
established via the International Institute of
Information Technology University Act, 2013.
Moreover, the college allows learning by
application of theory as well as the development
of both soft skills.

COURSES OFFERED

• Bachelors Course
• IIIT Naya Raipur, (International Institute of
  Information Technology), as a matter of fact,
  offers two credit-based undergraduate programs.
• Masters Courses
• IIIT Raipur, as a matter of fact, did not offer
  postgraduate courses earlier. However, the
  college recently introduces some PG courses of
  science stream namely Masters in Technology,
  Masters in Architecture, Masters in Planning, and
  Masters in Designing. However, the candidates are
  eligible only if they produce the GATE score of
  years 2019, 2020 and 2021.  
• PhD./M.Phil Courses
• Each year IIIT Naya Raipur enrols students on 6
  PhD programs. Moreover, the research scholars can
  study 4 science, 1 management, and 1 language
  courses. To clarify, these programs include PhD
  (CSE), PhD (ECE), PhD (Physics), PhD
  (Mathematics), PhD (English), and PhD
  (Management).

INFRASTRUCTURE
As a matter of fact, International Institute of
Information Technology, Raipur is located in the
well-connected capital town of Chhattisgarh.
Moreover, IIIT Naya Raipur has a well-developed
state of the art infrastructure. In addition to
this, the college has a fully residential campus
as well as electronically enabled learning and
teaching facilities. Further, IIIT Raipur is set
in the smart of Naya Raipur. Laboratories As a
matter of fact, IIIT Naya Raipur has well
developed modern laboratories. Moreover, the
major labs of the campus are Data Science Lab,
 VLSI Embedded System Labs, Networks Lab, and
Wireless Communication Lab.

• As a matter of fact, IIIT Naya Raipur has an 800
  square metres administrative library which is
  spread over two floors. Moreover, the college has
  a fully functional library for all the
  stakeholders namely, students, teachers, and
  scholars. In addition to this, the central
  section of the library has a digital collection
  of resources. As a matter of fact, the library
  has a vast collection of about 7316 books, 22
  magazines, 9 newspapers, 237 journals, along with
  an in-built plagiarism checker for PhD students.
  Moreover, Industry-Academia meet and corporate
  lecture series update the students on the latest
  technology trends.
• Other Facilities
• Moreover, the lush green campus of  IIIT Naya
  Raipur maintains good connectivity with
  well-equipped WIFI connections. Further, the
  college has active CCTV surveillance for
  maintaining discipline at the IIIT campus.
