1. Gangtok
  • One of the best tourist places in Sikkim, Gangtok
    in Sikkim is no less than a paradise. This city
    is the third highest mountain peak in the world,
    there are numerous tourist attractions in and
    around Kanchenjunga, including Enchey Monastery,
    Tsomgo Lake and Nathu La. One of the most
    important places to visit in Gangtok, Nathu La
    Pass is a route that connects Sikkim with the
    Tibet Autonomous Region of China. In ancient
    times, it formed part of the Silk Road, one of

    Gangtok. This beautiful glacier lake is one of

    literally means 'source of water'. Mesmarang Lake
    is one of the highest lakes in India which makes
    Sikkim even more beautiful. It is surrounded by
    lush landscapes on all sides. A small Shiva

    plants and flowers can be seen on Tsomgo Lake.

    mountains. Also known as the "Gateway of
    Kingchandzunha", the city is also known for its

    popular tourist places in sikkim among tourists.
