    but you need to be clear of why you are taking
    them. What is your goal of taking protein shakes?
    Each person has a different protein requirement
    and it depends on different factors. Some factors

  • Your diet (the kind of food you usually eat.)
  • Your workout routine.
  • Your current health conditions. 
  • Your genetic history. 
  • Your goal (do you want to lose weight, or build
    muscle or something else?)

  • If your diet contains necessary protein, then you
    dont need to take protein shakes on non-workout
    days. The main purpose of supplements is to help
    you repair and build your muscles after exercise
    and workout stress. Regarding the amount of
    protein you need, I suggest you speak to your
    nutritionist. They can also help you with the
    number of scoops you need per day. 
  • Protein content differs in products. Check for
    the protein content in the supplement. If it is
    less than 60-70, then it is better to select
    other products. Some brands add a miniscule
    amount of protein in the supplement along with
    other filler substances.
