INTRODUCTION
The Sainik School system is established and
managed by the Sainik School Society, under the
Ministry of Defense. The main objective of Sainik
Schools is to make public education accessible to
the common man. There are about 33 Sainik Schools
in India. To be admitted to these schools, you
must pass an entrance exam called the All India
Sainik School Entrance Exam, or AISSEE. The
Sainik School will prepare you physically and
mentally for joining a military academy. These
are residential schools and follow the CBSE plus
curriculum. The admission to Sainik School is
open for students of class 6 and class 9 only.

Syllabus of Sainik School
For class 6- In this test, you will get to see
only multiple-choice questions. The exam duration
is 90 minutes and you can get a maximum score of
90 marks. The school authority will check the
knowledge of students on mathematics, General
Knowledge, Reasoning or Intelligence, and
Language. All these sections contain 25 questions
except for the mathematics section. There you
will see 50 questions. For class 9- The Sainik
School entrance exams for class 9 are also
pen-paper based. Here, the school authority will
ask questions from mathematics, general
knowledge, intelligence, language, and social
studies. Each of the mathematics questions is of
3 marks. But, the other sections have 25
questions each and every question is worth 2
marks.
