received his BA in 1995 from the College of
William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA and his
Medical Degree from Boston University School of
Medicine in Boston, MA in 2006. He is currently
the Medical Director of UMD Urgent Care in Long
Island City, New York. For the last 10 years, he
has done volunteer work as a visiting fellow at
Lamtoro Medical Clinic in West Africa. He says
that it is the most rewarding and gratifying
experience of his life thus far. He has also
volunteered as a physician for the last 3 years
with UNHCR in Jordan at a Zattari refugee
