What exactly is OmniPro?
OmniPro is the only equestrian timer system with
self-aligning optical gates, where all the user
needs to do is to place the start and finish
lines and the system does the rest. It is also
the only system to feature dual optical beams for
added robustness against snow, falling leaves
etc. Naturally it works seamlessly with Equipe
equestrian event software.

The Team
Olav Barros Storstrøm, CEO and chief engineer
Sandra Barros Storstrøm, CXO UX designer
Olav is an electronics engineer with decades of
experience in developing sensor based, real time
instrumentation systems for rugged enviroments.
He had a keen interest in electronics and
mechanics from an early age,
Sandra is a social anthropologist, and has always
had a keen interest in human culture and how
people shape the objects around them. This led
her to museology, which is about understanding
history through the objects found from a
specific period and passing that narrative to
future generations.

OMNIPRO IS THE RESULT OF A DECADE LONG PURSUIT
OF A COMMON GOAL
He very first time Olav went riding he was on
holiday in New Zealand, in the glorious locations
of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Olav recalls it
as an amazing experience, and he was instantly
hooked. As soon as he returned to Norway he
started taking riding lessons. Before he knew
it, he was riding 3-4 times per week, knew
everyone at the yard, and was a key member of
the Sporting Committee, which in turn was
responsible for hosting all the show jumping and
dressage competitions.

tirelessly for many years, and were now proud to
launch OmniPro.
