  • Our business is in the production of brooms.
  • We try to produce brooms out of plastic bottles
    which will help the recycling cause and be
    environmentally friendly.

  • We produce brooms-in different sizes- out of
    plastic bottles,which are produced in our very
    own laboratories.

  • No known company in the local area has tried to
    produce brooms out of plastic bottles .We will
    succeed because we have our own school

    others to do the job for us.
  • CHEAP is the second target we aim for and as
    was explained before we have all the tools to

  • All houses need brooms which are durable in every
    weather and that is exactly what we provide.

  • Our products are made of recycled bottles and
    this way we help the environment by throwing less
    plastic away.
  • We create each broom according to the customers
    needs.

    customers favourite colour when arranging the
    brooms outlook.
  • Our brooms are durable under any weather
    condition and are not destroyed easily thus
    helping households saving money.
  • The fact that our brooms are cheap also helps the
    households to save money.

  • As mentioned earlier a market research and
    analysis was conducted and the results we got
    enable us to steer our business towards the right
    direction.
  • This research was conducted through
    questionnaires , online surveys ,surfing social
    media pages and internet research for similar
    products.

The Competition
  • When we start our business our competitors will
    be already established companies who sell
    brooms.They vary from small local companies to
    big well known ones.
  • Our main target will be to get known for the
    beginning-and then to expand.

Marketing
  • To make our company well known we of course-have
    a marketing department . It has created our very
    own Facebook page as well a Twitter and Instagram
    account .This way we will reach as many potential
    customers as possible. Leaflets and banners are
    being used to promote our products as well as
    advertisements will be played on local and
    national tv . Also personal relations are used to
    verbally promote our products.

  • In order to set up our business we will use our
    schools economics department .They will give us
    advice on how to finance our business. People on
    the engineering department will help us with
    setting up the machines as well as the
    production.
  • All our coworkers seem very enthusiastic and
    commited to our project and we have every reason
    to be really optimistic.

  • Our city is the second biggest in Greece and we
    have plenty of suppliers to choose from.In case
    of not finding what we are searching for Internet
    is always a good solution.
  • People we know we always be available to help us
    too.
  • In Greece most of the people use plastic water
    bottles of all sizes thus giving us easy access
    to our raw materials.

Money and finance
  • In Greece government tries to help young people
    under25 -to start their own business by giving
    low interest loans.That will be a good start in
    order to finance the first expenses of our
    company.As we explained earlier our expenses will
    be low because we will be using our schools
    laboratories and resources.While our business
    grows up we will try to attract possible
    investors or potential stockbuyers ,if we enter
    the stock market as we hope to do.

  • As we have already explained the school will help
    us in a lot of ways.Of course some very useful
    things need to be bought. We have already checked
    the internet and asked the competitors about the
    cost of purchasing them and we are pretty
    optimistic that we can gather the money
    needed.Some -well known to us people have
    expreddes interest in investing on our company
    and we believe they will help us financially at
    the beginning.
  • Students or former student of our school will
    always be our first choice when searching for
    workers.
  • Internet and job centers will also assist us in
    our search if needed.

  • Our customers will find our our products very
    satisfying and attracting.The price will also be
    something they will appreciate as we aim at a low
    price.Information about our product will be found
    as we explained earlier-almost everywhere.

  • As our company grows we hope that some similar
    producing companies will express interest in a
    partnership.We are open to such ideas and we will
    discuss them if they are offered to us.
  • Recycling companies are also potential partners
    and we have actually started discussions with a
    number of them.

  • Brooms from plastic bottles in a variety of
    colours and at a low price is an idea not a lot
    of companies tried to realize in our
    country.Ecological and cheap.This is what will
    distinguish us from other similar businesses.

  • The people who work-actually cooperate-with us
    possess a lot of skills and talents.Experience in
    the area is one of their best and very useful
    skills.They are highly trained and are able to
    achieve great results with low cost.They are
    educators which also means that through learning
    and experience they have acquired good social and
    communication skills.Our finance department is
    also highly trained as it consists of people who
    used to work in the private sector.

  • Our long term business goal is to be introduced
    into the Greek stock market ,thus being able to
    attract investors which means more capital
  • Then we want to become one of the biggest plastic
    recycling companies in Greece and be able to
    expand our business in the European Union.
  • After that ,who knows?The SKY will be the limit.

Short term business goals
  • For the time being we want to set up the business
    and start working profitably. We want to be able
    to earn profit after the first three months as
    our setting up costs will be low.
  • After the first year we want to achieve stability
    and be able to finance a possible market
    expansion by ourselves.
