Winter Maintenance Tips for Your Pool and Spa

  practices for fall and winter pool care. Taking

• Keep your pool clean and free of debris 
• Autumn brings falling leaves and winter winds can

  swimming, its important to keep your pool as

  good idea to run your pool pump during the
  coldest hours overnight. You will be able to
  decrease the number of hours you run your pump
  during the winter when the pool is not in use,

• If you have an ozone generator, you have another
  level of sanitizer in the pool that needs to be
  checked. Ozone, which is a type of oxygen, is

  amount of chlorine your water will need. But make
  sure the light of your generator is on and
  working.
• REGULARLY CHECK EQUIPMENT

  during the winter months to make sure your
  equipment is well maintained
• Test your pool heater to ensure its in good
  working condition.
• Clean your filter and keep your skimmer free of
  debris.
• Make sure to run your pump during freezing
  temperatures to keep the system from freezing.
