Title: Style Guide for the Holiday Season

Style Guide for Holiday Dressing
  • In just a few days, Christmas would grace the
land and celebrations would come to life. While
holidays have been going on since early this
week, the Christmas spirit and the wait for the
new year to arrive will be at its all-time high
in the upcoming days and weeks.

Introduction to Styling During the Holidays
  • We are sure that many of you would have already
made plans, decorated your Christmas tree, and
made the guest list and gift list for your family
and friends. Several of you would have also
picked out the outfit and accessories for
Christmas eve and new year party celebrations. We
are here to just add our fashion tips to your
finalized list of dresses and jewellery items.
  • In this post, we will cover six different styling
tips for holiday dressing, in brief, to help you
understand what you could add or remove from your
style. We also recommend that you go simple and
minimal this holiday season to ensure that the
pandemic does not interfere with your celebration
    plans.

Lets begin

Winter-Inspired Style Guide
  • Winter is upon the land and snow-fall has begun.
As many people run to their backyard to make
snowman and angels, others prefer to stay home in
their warm clothes. The same warm clothes are
your ticket to your winter dressing during
    Christmas and New Year celebrations.
  • You can choose the comfiest sweater to pair with
a cap and scarf and snow boots. A layered
dressing style is also a good choice where you
opt for a normal top with jacket and scarf. Try
avoiding wearing gowns with long-layered jackets
    and sweater.

Christmas-Inspired Style Guide
  • If you are in love with the sweater look during
the winters, Christmas-inspired apparels could be
your go-to option to celebrate Christmas spirit.
Red-coloured sweater or even the combination of
red with white and some glitter is good for
Christmas because when else will you shine if not
    on the Christmas celebrations?
  • You can pair your Christmas-inspired sweater with
long-length joggers and boots, or ankle-length
bottom with warm shoes or boots.

Over-Dressed for Holidays
  • As celebrations begin, dressing up and dressing
more is always on the cards. If you are all about
layering be it gold chains or clothes, then
over-dressing on the eve of Christmas is never a
bad idea. You only need to give extra attention
to the layering of clothes with the right shade.
For instance, a crisp white t-shirt with a
Christmas themed sweater and a jacket of black or
dark navy shade could be your go-to outfit
    ensemble.
  • Even on use of camisole under a full-sleeved
knee-length dress covered with a chequered jacket
with pockets and boots is yet another example of
layering that could be the right choice for the
new year or even Christmas celebrations or dinner
    date.

Corporate Look for Office Party Dressing
  • All the above-discussed ensembles are ideal for
parties or dinners or casual dressing, but for
the office party, you would need to look for
another type of outfit that fit the occasion. Our
suggestion would be to go for formal A-line
dresses paired with sombre coloured jacket or
blazer. You can accessorize the look with diamond
pendants with solitaire stones and precious stone
    earrings.
  • On the other hand, you can also go with the
formal pant-suit look, pair it with a thick
blazer, and add dangling yellow or white gold
    earrings.
